Brian grew up on a vineyard in the Salinas Valley in coastal California, studied engineering at UC Davis, and received an MFA in playwriting from Yale School of Drama. He’s worked as a Peace Corps Volunteer, caterer, computer programmer, news consultant, and keyboard tester. He spent more than twenty years leading analytics teams at Silicon Valley companies, including Meta and Yahoo. He lives in San Francisco.
